Just a short story

Mr. A is from a poor family. He have a mom, a dad and 3 brothers. So far, life have not been fair for him. He have been hurt by his family, particularly his father. In his heart, he loves his dad and cares for his brothers. He is not the type of person who will express his love for his family. He love them, seen by actions and not by words. But, he was deeply hurt. The beating and humiliation from his father causes him to be what he is right now - a person with a cold heart who finds difficulty in forgiving.

He becomes a successful person who have the ability to teach. He will do whatever he can to help his student to score an excellent grade. He is an excellent lecture. He have children as well - 4 of them. He really love them. He uses whatever teaching method he has to teach his children. He is also the type of father that will sacrifice all for his children. Sometimes you might think that he love his children more than his wife. Well, he love his wife as well. He is a responsible husband and father. He provide his family's needs - house, clothes, food, education etc. He never grumble and never give up in providing the best for his family.

Because of his unforgiving character, he does not have many friends. Family was his only friend.
He gets angry easily if his children misbehave. That is why his children are afraid of him so they love their mom more than him. He knows that his children are not close to him, they shared their deepest secret with their mom instead of him. Even though he doesn't show it but his youngest daughter knew what he was thinking. She know that he is a lonely person. Sometimes, she felt guilty of showing faces to her father due to many reasons. She wanted to comfort his heart but she does not know how. It weird for her to suddenly get close to her father because all the while she was closed to her mother.

One incident really touches her heart and began to shed in tears. Her mother told her what her father had said recently.

" I hope to die before you. I have nobody. There are no one else to take care of me if you die first. At least you have many relatives that cares for you. You have the 3 children to take care of you. If i'm sick and my life is dependant on the machine, please just let me die instead. Even if you lose me but i'm sure you have many to support you but i have none."

and her mom continued " I think that is why your father never go for check up. He does not want to treat himself from diseases. I think he just want to die." This statement pierced the girl's heart. She cries silently, not wanting her mom to know. She feels so sorry. She never knew how lonely her father was. She just hope that he'll find the love of Jesus to deliver him.

She wishes silently in her heart "Daddy, please find hope to live. Don't give up living. You'll always have me when you are in your darkest moment. And remember, Jesus loves you! Be lonely no more!
